The Edward vom Hofe Heritage fly reel was conceived by Len Codella in the early 1990’s. Len had Ross Hauck, of Ross Reels, make them. The reel bares the name of Len’s Heritage Sporting Collectibles business. There were only 27 reels made with two of them being prototypes and 25 of them sold. Ross Reels still makes high quality reels in Montrose, CO.
