Gregg Crazy Swimmer Lures came in two styles that are especially appealing to collectors. Both are called the Crazy Swimmer. Ellery Gregg was a well known commercial fly tier from Bristol, CT and moved to Tampa in the mid 1940’s. His Crazy Swimmers came in six different color patterns. Gregg also made the Wiggle Flies and sold them on point-of-purchase boards available in tackle shops. Gregg is considered to be one of the great Tampa Bay Area lure makers.
