The Square Stamping Co. received a Trademark for their German silver Waltonian side-mount casting reel on January 17, 1928. The reel was marked with their Trademark “Waltonian.” The Rome, NY “Daily Sentinel” newspaper reported on May 9, 1923 that the Square Stamping Co. had been chartered.
